Air Jordan 6 GS “Purple Dynasty” Release Dates,Back in November of this year, DJ Khaled provided sneakerheads a first look at this latest sneaker haul via his Snapchat account (@djkhaled305). A noteworthy sneaker that was spotted amongst his Jordan Brand haul was the Air Jordan 6 “Black Cat,” which is scheduled to be one of December 2016’s final Air Jordan releases. During the American Music Awards that took place on November 20th, DJ Khaled was even laced up in the Air Jordan 6 “Black Cat.” In case small-footed sneakerheads have been wondering when a new Air Jordan 6 release exclusively designed for them will arrive, this is apparently going to happen later this month.
Even though 2016 is coming to an end, it will apparently not hinder Jordan Brand’s plans to further expand the women’s exclusive with yet another addition. This latest addition is a GS-exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 6 that has been nicknamed “Purple Dynasty.” This uppers of this Air Jordan 6 iteration are made up of nubuck and including the heel tabs, inner linings, laces, midsoles and tongues, they are dressed up in a bold Dark Purple-like hue. The finishing touch has been added by pairing the uppers with pure White-colored outsoles.
It has been confirmed that this sneaker will retail at a price of $140, but that will not happen until the end of this year. It is being reported that this Air Jordan 6 GS “Purple Dynasty” will make its retail debut on December 30th at select Jordan Brand and Nike retailers.
The sixth signature model is one of Jordan Brand’s most popular ones and they already have a release planned in advance to join the Air Jordan releases 2017. This next year’s upcoming iteration being referred to looks quite similar to the Air Jordan 6 “Maroon” that had actually made its retail debut during the Holiday Season 2015. The sneaker being referred to is the Air Jordan 6 “Alternate” Initially, it was believed that this was perhaps a Bugs Bunny-inspired “Hare” rendition, but as its nickname suggests, it is among Jordan Brand’s long line of “Alternate” colorways. Its Red and White color scheme also pays homage to the Chicago Bulls.
